Have you ever noticed
That you’re the most inspired when you have other things to do — like clean toilets?
“It’s time to clean the toilets!”
“Oh but I can’t because I just had a great idea I need to write about”
“Oh but I can’t because I just got an idea for Character X in my work in progress!”
Happens to me. Every. Time.
Which leads me to believe that the greatest cure for writer’s block is to threaten myself to clean the house.
