A girl with Down syndrome was arrested in Islamabad for allegedly burning pages inscribed with verses from the Koran after she gathered paper as fuel for cooking. Laws defaming Islam or desecrating the Koran are punishable by death…The accused girl told officials didn’t know there were pages of the Koran inside the documents she burned. She is unable to read.
