Sometimes Alzheimer’s is funny, part 3.
Every time we drove by a house with a goose in the front Mama Ellen would say, “I need one of those.”
So, Mr. Himself, being the sweet man that he is, went in search of them. He brought home two cement geese and painted them for his Mama.
Then, when we’d drive by a neighborhood garage sale, Mama saw the snowmen and said, “Ooooo, I love those snowmen. I need one of those.”
So we brought three home. One sits with her on the porch because “I only want one, you can have the other two.”
Christmas forever.
So much fun.

I love this. I am tempted to print it up and post it on the bulletin board at the nursing home. Too cute.
