Francheska Velez, of Chicago, was killed in the Fort Hood shooting. She recently had returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. The 21-year-old was in the building where the shooting occurred filling out paperwork due to her pregnancy.
So unbelievably sad. Can’t really get over it.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of this tragedy today.
