I can hardly believe these are the little preemie babies I adopted 17 years ago. The first time I met them they couldn’t suck-swallow-breathe so had to be fed through their nose down to their stomach. I got to help teach them how to take a bottle the first time and had to learn CPR before we were allowed to take them home. Isaiah (on the right) came home first. He showed his appreciation for his going-home outfit by promptly puking all over it which is how it goes for preemies. You are just never sure how much nutrition they’re actually getting.
Isaiah came home a month before Isaac (on the left) got to come home. Now, Isaac is bigger than Isaiah. Stronger, too. Both were little fighters then and they still are.
My babies. Almost all grown up.

Wonderful young men! I love it! My boys were born at 28 weeks so I can relate to all of the things you mention. You have given them fabulous start to this world. Way to go! <3
