Daisy has been recovering well from her surgery to have a line placed to do a stem cell harvest. Now we just have to wait for her white blood cells to increase so that the harvest can happen. We are just waiting in the hospital at UCLA until her counts come up. It could be days… the days are pretty long in the hospital room. Thank you for your prayers for patience, endurance, joy and increasing white blood cells. The Merricks love you all. Jesus is our peace.
Proof I'm a geeky musician (or once a musician always a musician)
I was in the dentist chair on Tuesday morning for 3.5 hours. When the dentist was drilling I swear the tones the drill made sounded like a song. Now, admittedly I was on nitrous. But it tickled me and so I made him stop drilling.
"I wish I could record that."
He looked at the helper person and grinned.
"Yeah," I said, "It sounds like a symphony in my mouth!"
It seemed completely logical at the time! I really had the urge to record it and play it later. LOL.
Do you want me to video my office when I get it cleaned?
It’s nothing fancy but if enough people want to see my writing cave, it’ll motivate me to purge and arrange this week! Step 1 is accomplished. Everything once in the office is now in the dining room! (Mr. Himself is freaking out!)
I am not sleeping well and haven’t slept well in months. I go to the doctor on Friday for a conference with my doctor who said my test results came back funky (my word, not hers). I don’t know what she’s going to tell me but I suspect one of two things, so it won’t be a big surprise.
Please pray I can get some sleep. The issues are the pain I’m in constantly and my stinking restless Legs. Ugh. I’m sooooo tired.
