This is the same company that was pissed off because McDonalds sells “premium” coffee for a lot less than $3/cup. Maybe because we are in a recession and $3 is a lot of money for just one cup of coffee?
Doesn’t surprise me one bit.
I don’t live where there is a Starbucks. We have mom and pop shops here in small town America. The nearest Wal-mart is 30 miles away.

I was in thie pageant program in college. I was crowned Miss Derby, Kansas in 1982. Before that I was first runner up for Miss Central Wichita.
I got to compete in the MIss Kansas pageant. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I loved every second of it.
But I sure was hungry.

$13.95 book, repeated calls and letters, and they even sent a cop to talk to her in September. Now she had to pay a $250 bond, ouch.
Okay, this is just stupid. If I were arrested for every book I lost (and told the library) I would be in prison for life! I just pay for the book and move on. The library should have just charged her for the book and then pulled her library card...
